2010 Key Facts

An independent survey of attendees by Ipsos MORI found:

• All agreed that the Manchester Day Parade was entertaining

• 98% agreed it was a good event for the city to hold

• 97% said they would recommend the event to a friend

• 56% said they came to the city especially for the Manchester Day Parade

• 94% of those surveyed said they would return to see another Manchester Day Parade

• 60% attended with their families

• 68% said the Manchester Day Parade exceeded their expectations.

In total, more than 40,000 people attended the Parade, which resulted
in an economic impact of £4.1million and media coverage valued at nearly £1million.
